Purpose of this policy
This policy explains how Budget Bliss, LLC obtains consent to send text messages, what those messages contain, and how you can stop them. It reflects the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and the rules of the mobile carriers that deliver our messages.
It is a companion to our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions, and it applies to anyone who signs up on the get text alerts page.
Program details
Programme name: Budget Bliss text alerts. Programme operator: Budget Bliss, LLC. If you provide your mobile number and tick the consent box, you may receive recurring automated text messages in these categories, and in no others:
- Medicare plan information.
- Enrollment period reminders.
- Alerts when a plan you hold changes its costs, network or drug list.
- Replies to messages you send.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
How we obtain consent
- The consent checkbox is never pre-selected. You must tick it yourself.
- Consent is a standalone agreement. It is never bundled with acceptance of our Terms and Conditions or with any other permission, and it sits apart from them on the page.
- Consent is never a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
- The disclosure shown beside the checkbox names the programme operator, lists the message categories, states that message frequency varies, states that message and data rates may apply, explains how to stop messages and get help, and links to this policy, the Privacy Policy and the Terms and Conditions.
- You may only consent for a mobile number you own or are authorised to use.
We keep a record of the consent you gave, including the exact disclosure text that was on screen at the time, so that what you agreed to can be reproduced.
Stopping messages
Reply STOP to any message to end the programme. You will receive one confirmation that no further messages will be sent. You can also email [email protected] and ask to be removed, telling us the mobile number you signed up with.
Reply HELP to any message for help identifying the programme and stopping it. If you change or give up your mobile number, please tell us so that messages do not reach its next owner.
Carriers and delivery
Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages, and delivery is not guaranteed. Message delivery depends on your device, your plan and your carrier's network.
What we will not do
- We will not sell, rent or share your mobile number or opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for their marketing.
- We will not send messages outside the categories listed above.
- We will not publish or promise a specific number of messages.
- We will not ask you by text for your Medicare number, Social Security number or financial account details. If a message claiming to be from us asks for those, it is not from us.
- We will not sell insurance, quote a plan, complete enrollment paperwork or submit an application, because we are not a licensed insurance agency.
Concerns and complaints
If you believe you received a message you did not consent to, email [email protected] with the mobile number involved and we will investigate, remove the number and keep a record of the outcome.
